Overview
Sweet Breeze is a coastal-inspired fashion concept developed for a line development course during my semester studying in Florence, Italy, under the guidance of an Italian professor. Inspired by the effortless elegance of the Coastal Grandma and Granddaughter aesthetic, the collection combines timeless silhouettes, soft natural fabrics, and a soothing coastal palette. The project explores how classic design and contemporary styling can come together to create a wardrobe that feels relaxed, refined, and timeless.

We drew inspiration from the Coastal Grandma and Granddaughter aesthetic, combining classic, timeless pieces with the relaxed ease of coastal living. The direction centered on comfort, natural materials, understated styling, and a soft coastal palette.
Concept
The collection focuses on relaxed silhouettes, breathable natural fabrics, and understated details. Soft neutrals and coastal tones establish the foundation, while subtle stripes add visual interest without taking away from the collection's minimal feel.

We translated the established aesthetic into a cohesive collection of shorts, pants, a long-sleeve button-down, and a tank top. I developed the garment designs and patterns in Adobe Illustrator, exploring multiple colorways and pattern options before sharing the designs with my team for feedback and final color selection.
